Join your host Cynthia Damaskos from Holistic Christian Life for a program that supports your Lenten journey. Cynthia provides tools that will help you along the way, including her special Sunday program "St. Tikhon's Presents: Meet Your Lenten Saints." Click on the tab below to see all that it entails. Also, as a certified Health Coach, Cynthia wants to make sure that you are eating well and handling what can be a stressful time of year in a healthy way. During her Wednesday health coaching, she is presenting "The Five S's of Immunity." It's a program for mind and body...but especially soul as we look inward and contemplate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What Does My Beautiful Lent Provide?

My Beautiful Lent is designed to eliminate the stress of feeling as though an extra layer is being added to an already tapped out life...and simplify it. Our community strives to inspire and support your intentions of being fully present during one of the most beautiful seasons in the ancient Christian liturgical cycle.
What to eat everyday, including recipes and grocery lists. Two months without meat and dairy, and even fish and oil? We have you covered! The menus will keep you healthy, energized and worry free about what to cook. Plus, they will keep your immune system strong! No want wants to miss services due to illness! Have you been with us in the past? Once again we are adding new recipes and meal plans, this year by Lynne Wardach from her book "The Byzimom's Guide to Great Fast Meals."
This is one of our most loved features! Each day a quote from a Saint will appear, and an opportunity to practice structured and silent prayer will be offered. A daily exercise component via video with Kosmas McLean from The Orthodox Fitness and Health Mission is also helpful if you don't have your own exercise routine in place. You'll want to come here each day!

My Beautiful Lent is honored to bring you "St. Tikhon's Presents: Meet Your Lenten Saints." These interviews will bring you into the lives of Saint Theodora the Empress, St. Gregory Palamas, St. Tikhon of Moscow, St. John of the Ladder, and St. Mary of Egypt. You won't want to miss these interviews with Dr. David Ford, Fr. Michael Demko, Fr. Archimandrite Sergius - Abbot of St. Tikhon's Monastery, Father Theodore Petrides, and Fr. John Parker - Dean of St. Tikhon's Seminary.
Do you feel alone during the fast, as many friends and family members focus on anything but the Lenten season? A private Facebook page is set up as an optional place to go to meet with Cynthia, converse with like-minded friends around the world, and share the journey. The ability to communicate with each other is also available on the members only portion of the My Beautiful Lent website if you want to stay off of Facebook.
